DIRTCAR CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND JUST DAYS AWAY; SUPER DIRTcar SERIES STARS BATTLE IN LABOR DAY 100 WEEDSPORT, NY- Fans will be treated to some of the most exciting racing of the season this weekend as the 2010 racing season gears up for Super DIRT Week in October. Labor Day Weekend will feature a double points Championship night at Canandaigua Speedway Saturday, the Super DIRTcar Series Labor Day 100 at Cayuga County Fair Speedway Sunday night, and the Robert N. Petrocci Memorial race completes DIRTcar Championship Weekend on Monday at Rolling Wheels Raceway. |

BELLINGER HOLDS OFF THE DOCTOR IN HIS FIRST CAREER WIN AT CCFS WEEDSPORT, NY-Rob Bellinger won a thriller in the 35 lap DIRTcar big block Modified feature as the youngster held off Danny Johnson at the finish. The win was a career first for Bellinger at Cayuga County Fair Speedway, who took the lead on lap 21 from Australian Pete Britten. Britten had led from lap five and had his best run of the 2010 season to this point. The top five began to develop from lap ten until the yellow flew on lap 27. Plenty of exciting side by side action and lapped traffic gave the front runners a real challenge. In some of the best racing to this point in the 2010 season, Bellinger held off a determined Danny Johnson at the finish line. Third was Matt Sheppard followed by Jimmy Phelps and Britten. |

Sunday Night Racing Action Has Been Rained Out at Cayuga County Fair Speedway Cayuga County Fair Speedway has cancelled tonight’s, August 22nd, events due to continuous heavy rain. As the summer is coming to a close and we have had battles recently with ‘mother nature’, there is still some exciting action scheduled in the upcoming weeks at Cayuga County Fair Speedway, Canandaigua Speedway and Rolling Wheels Raceway Park. |
